The Cyanoacrylate Fuming Chamber is used to develop latent prints from non-porous surfaces in a controlled and safe environment. The ductless design allows immediate use. Simply plug-in and go.

Cyanoacrylate is placed inside the chamber while evidence is easily positioned using the adjustable hanging rods. Starting the cycle triggers the automated system to control the hotplate, humidity, door lock, internal circulation fan, and purge cycle.
Its recirculatory design makes the unit ‘ready to use' with no ducting required for its operation or setup. The Cyanoacrylate vapours are filtered by a special carbon filter. This ensures that no dangerous substances are exhausted in to the atmosphere surrounding the laboratory. Its ductless construction also allows the unit to be easily moved and transported.
The easy to use control displays all parameters of the processing cycle. Adjustments to the presets can be quickly performed. Display features include: Hot plate, Humidity, Temperature, Circulation fan, Cycle time, Lights, Door position with lock alarm, Filter condition, Purge cycle with emergency stop.

EVIDENCE DRYING CABINETS

The Forensic Evidence Cabinet is used for drying and storing evidence recovered from a crime scene. The cabinet will ensure containment of fumes, odours and particulates, whilst also minimizing the risk of cross contamination.

Controls are located at front of the cabinet and include:
Humidity sensor to inform the operator when the evidence is dry and ready to remove.

Security tags and Key Locks on main access door.
Low Airflow Alarm for blocked filters.
Optional heater in top section to maintain ambient temperature in cold locations.

 

Its recirculatory design makes the unit ‘ready to use' with no ducting required for its operation or setup. Air entering into the top of the cabinet is first passed through an inlet pre-filter and then through a HEPA particulate filter to ensure it is clean and sterile. The sterile air then passes downwards through the cabinet in an laminar follow pattern ensuring evidence is dried under sterile air conditions. Vapours, odours and particulates given from drying evidence are filtered by both special carbon and HEPA filters located in the base unit. This ensures that no dangerous substances are exhausted in to the atmosphere surrounding the laboratory. Its ductless construction also allows the unit to be easily moved and transported.

Corrosion proof interior design increases operational life, with the use of reinforced plastics that are resistant to corrosion from various liquids and fumes.

Each cabinet includes a complete plumbing package that makes cleaning the cabinet easy. The spray hose is kept outside the working compartment at all times to prevent the chance of cross contamination. A drain outlet with flexible hose is provided to allow waste water to be removed from the cabinet. The space inside the cabinet can be used to provide full length hanging space and with removable shelves for storage of smaller items.

Dye Staining Benches are designed to give operator protection from the Ethanol dye used during the forensic process of developing latent finger prints from non-porous surfaces. The Polypropylene sink, dye storage tank, water facilities and open work surface provide the optimum environment for the efficient processing of such prints.

 

- There is no need for expensive ducting to be installed due to the units re-circulatory airflow.

- The polypropylene and stainless steel construction also allows for easy cleaning.

- The worksurfaces will not rust or corrode when in contact with water and chemicals.

- Carbon and HEPA filters are available to suit most laboratory applications.

- The harmful fumes and vapours are drawn downward through the worksurface to the units filters. Clean air is then re-circulated back into the laboratory.

-The safety alarm will alert the operator if work surface face velocity falls below 0.3 M/Sec.

Inset Downdraft Tables are designed to give operator protection while allowing complete, easy and open access to the working area. Harmful fumes and vapours are drawn downward through the stainless steel worksurface to the units filters. Clean air is then re-circulated back into the laboratory. The inset design fits flush in to an existing bench top. Ideal to save space or use when a freestanding bench is not suitable. There is no need for expensive ducting to be installed due to the units recirculatory airflow. The safety alarm will alert the operator if worksurface face velocity falls below 0.3 M/Sec.
